What Driveey charges drivers

Driveey charges a 7% License Fee on every trip, but it never grows unchecked — it's always capped at Rs. 500, whether that's one standard ride or the combined total of every passenger in a shared carpool listing.

Typical international platforms often take 15–25% with no real ceiling. Driveey charges 7%, but a standard ride never pays more than Rs. 500, and an entire shared carpool listing — no matter how many passengers — never pays more than Rs. 500 combined.

3. Shared Listing Total Cap — carpool listing (Karachi ➝ Multan, 4 passengers)

Each passenger books a Rs. 2,000 seat. Raw 7% per seat is Rs. 140 — no single seat alone would hit the Rs. 500 ceiling. But this is a shared listing, so all the fees collected across every passenger are added up, and the running total is capped at Rs. 500 for the whole listing.

The first three passengers are charged plain 7% since the running total stays under Rs. 500. Passenger 4's raw 7% (Rs. 140) would push the listing total to Rs. 560, so only the remaining Rs. 80 is charged to reach the Rs. 500 cap — after that, no further fee would be collected from any additional passenger on this listing.

Wallet debt settlement

Negative balance = settle within 3 days

When a trip is completed, the License Fee is deducted at 7% of the trip total — capped at Rs. 500 for a standard ride, or capped at Rs. 500 combined across a whole shared carpool listing, with an overall Rs. 500 rolling cap on any driver's fees in a 24-hour window. If the wallet balance becomes negative, it represents an outstanding debt. Drivers must clear any negative balance within 3 calendar days via authorized methods (Bank Transfer, JazzCash, Easypaisa, etc.). Failure to settle may result in temporary suspension. Account deletion requires all outstanding financial obligations to be cleared.
